Torrey Pines Directions
Torrey Pines south golf course is the venue for the 2008 US Open golf championship. This long and challenging course is one of two courses in the Torrey Pines golf facility, which is owned by the city of San Diego. Torrey Pines is situated in the La Jolla community of San Diego, and is within the vicinity of Bird Rock, Windansea, the village of La Jolla, La Jolla Shores, the La Jolla farming area and Mount Soledad.
Torrey Pines is located approximately 20 minutes from San Diego. There are three main routes into Torrey Pines: from Los Angeles (north), from Temecula (north-east) and from downtown San Diego (south).

The distance from Los Angeles to Torrey Pines is 112 miles and the drive should take under two hours to complete depending on traffic conditions. Depart on Arrivals Access World Way (south). Bear left onto local road(s) before bearing right onto Arrivals Access. Take the right off-ramp onto SR-1 and right onto the I-105 off-ramp. Left off-ramp onto I-105, then take I-405 off-ramp and keep right before going left onto the I-405. Take a right off-ramp onto the SR-73, then ramp onto I-5. Turn right onto Genesee Avenue and then merge onto Torrey Pines Road.

The journey from Temecula to Torrey Pines is 59 miles and should take under an hour to complete. Depart Temecula on Business Park Drive (south) and turn left onto Rancho California Road. Take the right off-ramp onto I-15 and keep right onto the SR-163. Take the right off-ramp onto SR-52 and then right again onto the Genesee Avenue off-ramp and then right onto Genesee Avenue North. Then merge onto Torrey Pines Road.

Torrey Pines is 15 miles from downtown San Diego, and travelling this distance should take around 20 minutes. Depart San Diego on the Airport Exit (east) and keep straight onto Harbor Drive. Turn left onto Laurel Street and left again onto India Street. Take the left off-ramp onto the I-5 and then take the Genesee Avenue off-ramp to the right. Bear left onto a local road and then turn left onto Genesee Avenue, before merging onto Torrey Pines Road.
