At the 2004 US Open in Shinnecock Hills Golf Club in Southampton, New York, he came 30th, but followed to make the cut at the 2005 US Open at Pinehurst Resort Course No. 2 in Pinehurst, North Carolina. He succeeded in making the cut in 2006 and placed 57th. He bettered this result at the 2007 US Open at Oakmont Country Club in Oakmont, Pennsylvania, where he tied for 45th place.
